WHAT DOES A PATENT PARALEGAL DO?
Patent Paralegals work hand in hand with patent attorneys to protect innovative ideas and new products of companies, for example through patents or trademarks. Their tasks include the preparation and filing of patent and trademark applications as well as further correspondence with offices and colleagues abroad worldwide. In addition, Patent Paralegals are also responsible for office organisation and meeting deadlines and schedules. Overall, this is a challenging and varied job in a crisis-proof legal profession with a high degree of personal responsibility.
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING WITH YOU?
- A-levels, vocational baccalaureate or a good secondary school leaving certificate
- Good language skills in German and English
- Interest in working with computers
- Diligence and conscientiousness
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
- A solid three-year training in a future-oriented profession

- an excellent apprenticeship salary right from the start (1st year of apprenticeship: €1,000; 2nd year of apprenticeship: €1,300; 3rd year of apprenticeship: €1,600)

Paul & Albrecht Patentanwälte is a medium-sized patent law firm in Neuss with a total of five patent attorneys as well as around 8 other employees. We have been involved in the training of patent paralegals and patent attorneys for decades.
